Recipe Description

Ingredients

  • avocado oil - 1 tablespoon of avocado oil
  • filtered water - 2 cups of filtered water
  • frozen peas - 12 ounces of frozen peas
  • garlic powder - 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • ground bison - 16 ounces of ground bison
  • onion powder - 1 tablespoon of onion powder
  • pink salt - ½ teaspoons of pink salt
  • white basmati rice - 1 ½ cups of white basmati rice

Recipe Steps

Step 1

Place [ ](frozen peas) on the counter to thaw while preparing the dish.

Step 2

Set the Instant Pot to sauté on HIGH. Add [ ](avocado oil) and [ ](ground bison). Sauté until the bison is fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces. Drain any excess fat.

Step 3

Stir in [ ](onion powder), [ ](garlic powder), [ ](pink salt), and [ ](filtered water). Add [ ](white basmati rice) (rinsed and drained), stirring to combine.

Step 4

Press “Cancel” on the Instant Pot. Secure the lid, set the valve to “Sealing,” and cook on HIGH pressure for 4 minutes.

Step 5

Allow 10 minutes of natural pressure release, then perform a quick release. Stir in the thawed peas until evenly distributed and warmed through.

Step 6

Divide into meal prep containers for easy lunches or serve immediately. Enjoy warm!
